This article focuses on a topical issue in France: vaccination against papillomavirus. We performed a qualitative study using grounded theory until data saturation, to assess the perceptions of young girls regarding the anti-HPV vaccine. Their opinion of anti-HPV vaccination was not negative, but we observed a clear lack of knowledge as well as misbeliefs. Family physicians are key to promoting this vaccination.
