Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography–MR Imaging Correlation: A Key Component for Best Practice

Figure thumbnail fx1 Ultrasonography and MR imaging are commonly used in musculoskeletal radiology to evaluate bones, joints, ligaments, muscle-tendon units, nerves, and vessels. Neither ultrasonography nor MR imaging uses ionizing radiation, making either perfectly suitable for any age group or serial examinations.
