Sanjoy Bhattacharya is a tenured full Professor at the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Miami with notable publications in Nature, JCI, and EMBO Reports. He is a pioneer in applying multi-omics to adult axon regeneration research, with the aim of translating it to clinical practice to restore vision. He serves on the editorial boards of several journals, is Chair of School Council, and Director of the Miami Integrative Metabolomics Research Center and an interdisciplinary master's program.
