Sleep disorders in young adults

Don’t all adolescents have sleep problems? It is a time of fast physical growth as well as emotional and cognitive development; becoming an adult. Do you understand the dynamics of sleep during this crucial stage of biosocial and psychological change? The evidence base is poor. Sleep deprivation is associated with behavioural changes, irritability, mood disorders, weight issues, poor attention with low academic achievement.
