Remember me
Insulinoma is a rare pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasm (PanNEN) that causes hypoglycemia owing to endogenous insulin hypersecretion. Insulinoma is the most common functional PanNEN; it is also one of the most common causes of hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia in adults without diabetes mellitus1-4. However, little is known regarding recent clinical practice for insulinoma, especially treatment strategy and unmet clinical needs, although some epidemiological studies have been reported1,3.
