Dr.S.Jubie, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty, She pursued a B.Pharm in SB College of Pharmacy (1999), M.Pharm in KM College of Pharmacy (2002), and Ph.D. (2014) from JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru. She was declared the best outgoing student during her M. Pharm (2000–2002). Her experience includes 21 years of both teaching and research. Her research areas of interest are discovering novel chemical entities for cancer therapy through various in-silico tools and drug/scaffold repurposing. As a part of the citizenship activities of the institution and the university, she was a member of the NAAC and ACPE preparatory teams and is currently a member of the NBA &NIRF teams. She has published 75 International papers and 32 national papers in indexed journals with a cumulative impact factor of 155.02 in the range of 0.4–8.03. Her total citations are 1608, with an H-index of 22 (Google Scholar), 17 (Scopus), and 13 (Web of Science). She has been granted four Indian patents. In addition to it, she has published and filed four Indian patents. She also has published five books and three book chapters. Currently, she is carrying out three research grants sponsored by AICTE-RPS, ICMR-IIRP, Govt of India, and JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru. She has acquired two research grants funded by DST, India, one international research grant from Shaqra University, Saudi Arabia, and three research grants sponsored by JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru, as a co-investigator. Mysuru. She has also received travel grants from DST & ICMR India Govt of India. She has attended 19 international and 42 national conferences as a delegate. She has been invited as a resource person at two international and 22 national conferences and 18 webinars. She has guided 4 Ph.D. students & 13M. Pharm Students, 13 Pharm projects, and 6 PhD students are working currently. She is a life member of various professional bodies such as IPA, APTI, APP, SBTI, and IFERP. She has organized many national conferences, webinars, and health awareness programs with the support of Government funding agencies. She is a recipient of the Pharmacy woman teacher award-2023 from APTI, Tamilnadu state branch, the Young Researcher Award-2019 & Young Performer of the year-2020 from Association of Pharmacy Professionals, India, and Best Researcher Award-2019 from JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru, Associate Fellow of Antiviral Research Society, India, Best teacher Award-2022 from JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty. Her biography has been included in Famous India; Nation’s Who’s Who. She strongly believes in the words of Buddha, “The mind is everything. What you think you become.” She makes every effort to produce pharmacy graduates who are competent, committed, and compassionate.
