Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive after 12 months of regular unprotected sex [1]. Around 15% of reproductive couples are diagnosed as infertile worldwide, and 70% of it is attributed to female fertility problems [2]. Few common disorders that cause infertility in females are polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), uterine leiomyoma, endometriosis, sexually transmitted diseases, and fallopian tube defects [1]. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) statistics, more than 116 million women worldwide are affected with PCOS, and in India, the prevalence of PCOS ranges between 2.2% and 26% [3]. In recent times, women with PCOS and infertility are approaching Traditional Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCIM) therapies more frequently in addition to conventional management to increase the chances of conception [4]. Though the prevalence of (29–96%) infertile women seeking TCIM are high, there is little evidence to support these TCIM therapies in actual clinical practice [5]. Other than herbal medicines, the effect of yoga, mind-body interventions, and meditation on infertile women remains largely unexplored. We present case of a 25 year old female with secondary infertility due to PCOS, who successfully conceived following cyclic meditation as intervention cyclic meditation for a period of four months.
